Note: My own experience with Google Dance Tool and why I think it's valuable is because it's a simple tool to see if sites making various promises are really getting traffic or for that matter even at all listed.
While not a perfect tool, you know that a site listed high in Google about 10 or better (rough estimate here) is at least getting some traffic.
You would be surprised at the promises people make on their websites and then you find out they are not even listed . That's a person you simply can't trust.
But it's also important to note that I'm talking about sites related to internet marketing, as these are the sites that allegedly get a little better ranking than other niches because so many marketing people download the Google search listing Tool.
So I recommend this as a simple check when you want to see if marketing hype has any kind of substance to it. No, this is not a perfect tool or anything like that, but it sometimes helps when you want to research a site's position ranking before making a final decision on trusting them for relevant content.
The higher the number is, the More traffic the site is likely to be getting.
